Nearly five years after sci-fi series Supernatural aired its final episode, star Jensen Ackles recently put a fan theory to rest about whether or not his band’s song, “Watching over Me,” is inspired by Castiel (Misha Collins). Ackles, who’s a singer-songwriter in the rock duo Radio Company, was questioned about the song at the Purgatory 9 convention in Germany, which took place from May 31 to June 1.
