Later, Vibhu pursued his passion and studied acting at the New York Film Academy in the United States.
After completing his studies, Vibhu began his journey in the glamour world with his brief roles in Savdhaan India, Suvreen Chawla, and Rhythm, among others. Vibhu’s breakthrough happened when he had the opportunity to work on Nisha Aur Uske Cousins. He worked as a lead in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, which brought him immense fame and recognition. Vibhu Raghave revealed being diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine colon cancer in 2022. Since then, he shared motivational content that spoke volumes about his willpower. In 2022, during his conversation with The Times Of India, Vibhu said that when he initially got to know about his cancer, he used to ask god about what he had done to deserve this. The late actor also mentioned that no doctors had ever assured him about being 100 per cent cancer-free, and he was told over and over again that he would have to live with it. Vibhu also shared that the illness wouldn’t be able to stop him from living his life to the fullest. Sharing that, he tried to laugh as much as he could and establish a good career, Vibhu mentioned:
“I try to make the most of each day I have now, laugh as much as I can, and yes, I still keep dreaming of having a good career and traveling all over the world. The illness cannot stop me from dreaming big.”
Soon after his demise, Vibhu Raghave’s last IG post resurfaced online. His last post, dated back on April 17, 2025, wherein he talked about his health status. In the video, he looked unrecognisable. Vibhu, in the post, shared that his cancer started spreading all over as the treatment didn’t work. Vibhu looked unrecognisable, and he mentioned in his last video that new chemotherapy had started, and he was hoping for good news after the scan. He asked his fans to keep him in their prayers, and the way, with all the pain, yet with a smiling face, he was sharing his health update spoke volumes about the strength his soul held. As his demise left a mark in people’s minds, his last video dug a bit deeper there.
Vibhu Raghave’s family: Was he married?
Not many personal details about the late actor, Vibhu Raghave were known, but the actor is survived by his mother, Anupama Raghav, brother, Aishwarya Raghave and sister, Garima Singh Tyagi. It was at midnight of June 3, 2025, when the news about Vibhu’s demise surfaced, and it was later confirmed through the IG posts of the late actor’s close friends. Taking to their social media handles, Vibhu’s close friends Simple Kaul and Addite Malik shared details about the late actor’s antim darshan and last rites. The antim darshan took place at 12:30 p.m. in Hill Park, Captain Samant Marg, followed by a funeral procession in Jogehswari West from 1 p.m.
