Institute of Peace cleaners found marijuana after ‘DOGE goons’ left their building.

Elon Musk has left the White House and his brainchild, the Department of Government Efficiency, but has left a huge mess in all the offices that his team camped in. The Economist reported that the cleaners of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), a think-tank, found marijuana apparently thrown out by DOGE staffers. The institute building was forcibly taken by the DOGE, but a court ruling stayed that. From March to May, the building was with DOGE and the administrators of the institute re-entered their building only on May 19. A judge ruled last month that the DOGE didn’t have the authority to seize the $500 million USIP headquarters or to fire the agency’s employees. USIP, which Congress founded as a nonprofit corporation in 1984, describes itself as being dedicated to “promoting peace by preventing, mitigating and resolving violent conflict abroad.”USIP’s acting president and CEO George Moose said in a sworn statement that they found water damage, evidence of rats and cockroaches in the building — issues that were never there when they left the building. “A photo shared with me earlier of uh, DOGE’s legacy at USIP,” Economist journalist Daniel Knowles wrote as she shared the photo of marijuana. The report comes as Elon Musk has been accused of overdosing on Ketamine, a drug that he earlier acknowledged to have been taking only on prescription. A New York Times report claimed that Musk’s drug use had been so excessive when he was in the administration that the 53-year-old started having bladder problems. The NYT report quoted people who saw Elon Musk’s pill box that he carried with him. It has 20 pills, including ones with the markings of the stimulant Adderall, they said. Reacting to the allegation, Musk first slammed the NYT and questioned its credibility. Then he outrightly rejected the allegations and accused NYT of lying. “to be clear, I am NOT taking drugs!” Musk wrote. “The New York Times was lying their ass off.” “I tried prescription ketamine a few years ago and said so on X, so this not even news. It helps for getting out of dark mental holes, but haven’t taken it since then,” Elon said.
