Not many gay rom-coms start with a diplomatic incident, but Red, White & Royal Blue certainly does. The Amazon Prime Video movie— based on the bestselling book by Casey McQuiston — stars Taylor Zakhar Perez as American first son Alex Claremont-Diaz and Nicholas Galitzine as U.K. royal Prince Henry, two men whose long-running feud boils over into a transcontinental forbidden love affair.
A Red, White, & Royal Blue sequel has been greenlit, but not many details have been shared.
While we wait for more of Alex and Prince Henry’s love story, check out these other LGBTQ+ rom-coms below to watch during Pride Month, all of which are currently streaming.
