The trailer of Knives Out 3 was released at Tudum 2025. The makers did not reveal any major details about the film, apart from the cast for the third instalment and the eerie tone of the movie. However, they might have dropped a hint about the central victim of the film in the trailer. According to a report by Screen Rant, a specific cast member’s absence from the film might be an indicator of them being the victim in the film.
From the observations, along with the possible casualties later in the film, the trailer hints that ‘Simone Vivane’, played by the esteemed actress, Cailee Spaeny becomes the primary murder victim. While the speculation is not yet officially confirmed, Benoit Blanc is seen quite often alongside the other characters, but not Simone Viviane.

Andrew Scott is shown with a knife, suggesting that he is likely the central suspect who will shape the film.
