The month of April 2025, especially the day of the 22nd, had been like a nightmare for the entire nation following the horrific Pahalgam attack. For the unversed, on April 22, 2025, a group of Pakistani te****ists attacked the Indian tourists who were present in the Baisaran valley. Following this, came India’s five-point strict action plan and Operation Sindoor. The situation has been pretty intense over the past two months.

Now, taking reference from the same, comedian, Gaurav Gupta ended up roasting a Pakistani fan, who was a part of his US-Canada tour.
Comedian, Gaurav Gupta roasts a Pakistani fan by asking him to recite Hanuman Chalisa
Taking to his IG handle, comedian, Gaurav Gupta shared a video from his show. In the clip, he was seen addressing the audience, asking if any Pakistani fan was present there to witness his show. To this, an individual from the audience raised his hands and stated that he was Pakistani. Well, the audience started teasing that person by calling him names like ‘sindoor’, which was in a mimic tone and was done light-heartedly, given the way the stand-up comedy shows usually are. Later, Gaurav Gupta playfully asked everyone to behave.
Going forward in the video, Gaurav Gupta was seen shifting his statement to a roasting tone. The comedian soon asked the Pakistani fan to recite Hanuman Chalisa. Gaurav was seen saying, “Chalo Hanuman Chalisa padho ab. Padho, padho.” The comment was surely made in a lighthearted tone, and the audience was seen bursting out in laughter with applause. Later, he asked the fan if he could comprehend the meaning of his joke.
The Pakistani fan replied with a ‘Yes’, and Gaurav started saying, again in a lighthearted tone, that they won’t get it (Kashmir). He continued saying that it’s been said throughout all these years, that they won’t get it (Kashmir). To note, all the comments were made lightheartedly, keeping in mind the format of the stand-up comedy shows. Gaurav can be quoted as saying:
“Toh tumhe samajh nahi aata, nahi milega tumhe? Itne saalon se keh rahe hain nahi milega, nahi milega, phir aa jaate ho tum.”

In the same video, Gaurav Gupta thanked his Pakistani fan for coming to his show and said that the fan had the guts to be a part of an Indian comedian’s show, like him, even after all the incidents that took place. The reason he said this was due to the heightened situation between India and Pakistan. Later, he also made a funny comment by stating that although the artists were banned, the audience is still allowed.
Pakistani artists were banned in India following the horrific Pahalgam attack

On the other hand, Mawra Hocane’s comment didn’t go down well with Harshvardhan Rane, who then claimed that he would back out from Sanam Teri Kasam 2 if the previous cast would be repeated, which means he expressed his wish not to work with the Pakistani actress anymore.
