The much-loved Crawleys are taking their final bow with Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale set for a wide theatrical release.

The first official teaser was revealed on Monday, generating buzz among fans.

Familiar Faces and a New Era

The teaser features the return of many original cast members, such as Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, Allen Leech, Elizabeth McGovern, and Harry Hadden-Paton.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the trailer begins in 1930 with Jim Carter’s famous Mr. Carson inviting visitors to the races, symbolizing the new era for the Crawleys.

Apart from its regular cast, the movie also features a cast of familiar faces and newcomers. Penelope Wilton, Paul Giamatti, Phyllis Logan, Raquel Cassidy, Brendan Coyle, Kevin Doyle, Michael Fox, Joanne Froggatt, Robert James-Collier, Sophie McShera, and Lesley Nicol all make a return.

New additions include Alessandro Nivola, Arty Froushan, Joely Richardson, Paul Copley, and Douglas Reith. Together, the ensemble brings the world of Downton Abbey to life one final time.
