Ektaa R Kapoor’s much-loved show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain recently marked its 14th anniversary since its debut on May 30, 2011. The original series, starring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, struck a chord with audiences and became a hit, leading to multiple seasons over the years. Now, the fourth season of the show, featuring Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda in the lead, is all set to premiere on June 16 on Sony Entertainment Television, with episodes also available on SonyLIV.

A day after celebrating the show’s 14-year milestone, Ektaa took to Instagram to share a heartfelt video reflecting on the legacy of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and offering a glimpse into what fans can expect from the upcoming season. In her message, Ektaa said, “This is the perfect time to celebrate a show that brought something fresh to Indian television. With this new season, I aim to once again highlight the challenges women face as they grow older, emotionally, socially, and physically, especially when they fall short of societal expectations, yet strive to stay true to themselves.”
She added, “Through Bade, I want to emphasize the importance of women supporting each other through various stages of life, lifting each other up and adjusting each other’s crowns along the way. That’s the essence I hope to capture in this season. Happy Bade to all of you!” Before signing off, Ektaa also teased an upcoming announcement related to Pavitra Rishta, which she plans to reveal on June 1.
Ektaa Kapoor also launched the Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy 2025 at the WAVES Summit in Mumbai, praising the state’s cinematic appeal and cultural richness. She stressed the need for financial support to help it emerge as a key filmmaking hub.
