Since the trailer of Sitaare Zameen Par was released, it has generated interest among audiences looking forward to a story centered on love, laughter, and family. Positioned as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, this upcoming film has quietly built anticipation. Recently, Aamir Khan confirmed that it will be released in theaters.
Aamir Khan opens up on Sitaare Zameen Par’s release in theaters; says, “I am a cinema guy and I decided to only release it in the theatres”
In a recent podcast with Raj Shamani, when Aamir Khan was asked where Sitaare Zameen Par would be releasing, the superstar responded, “Sitaare Zameen Par is releasing in theatres only. I am a cinema guy and I do believe in cinema and theatres hence I decided to only release it in the theatres.”
Aamir Khan Productions proudly presents 10 rising stars: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, who previously helmed the barrier-breaking blockbuster Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, now returns with the biggest collaboration with Aamir Khan Productions’ Sitaare Zameen Par.
Sitaare Zameen Par is produced under the Aamir Khan Productions banner and features Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh in lead roles, alongside ten young talents. The film’s music is composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The screenplay is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma. It is produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, with Ravi Bhagchandka also on board as producer. Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film is set to release in theatres on 20th June 2025.
