It’s a week for celebrations in camp Swift, as Taylor Swift was able to buy back the rights to her first six albums, a final end to her years-long battle to own her own music. How else could the pop star celebrate, but in true Swiftian “Style.”
Following the Taylor Swift book of girl’s night out-dom, the musician headed out in New York City with friend and actor Dakota Johnson. They were joined later by Swift’s brother Austin, and Johnson’s brother Jesse, to head to Swift’s favorite Italian restaurant and celebrity bolthole Via Carota.

Swift opted for a look that fits with her feminine aesthetic and love of accessories: A flirty floral fit and flare tea dress by the all-American girl-loving Dôen, to which she added a thick black, gold-chained belt. She wore a pair of strappy black and red-bottomed Christian Louboutin stilettos, and carried a Balmain black and gold bag. Swift finished the look with layers of gold necklaces, gold drop earrings, and gold bracelets on each wrist. For glam, she wore her signature long blonde hair back in a ponytail and a full set of bangs, with a slick cat eye, and red lip and matching manicure to also match her heels and the rose details in her dress. Johnson, meanwhile went for a slinky black dress with a cropped black leather jacket and sheer black kitten heels.
The journey from private car to Via Carota has become something of a runway for Swift, often photographed dining there with girlfriends (like Blake Lively, Sophie Turner, and Gigi Hadid) and partner Travis Kelce. You’ll catch her slipping into her usual red mini-dresses, plaid skirt suits, leathers and denim, and fairy-esque tulle skirts to grab some pasta and Tuscan cuisine at the West Village spot.

While sightings of Swift have been more rare in recent months, she and Kelce were spotted at Harry’s in West Palm Beach, Florida, having a meal, and before that celebrating Mother’s Day with Kelce’s family in Philadelphia earlier on in the month. Since the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss in February and Swift’s wrap-up of her mammoth Eras Tour at the end of last year, they’ve kept things low-key. But likely, the couple will be toasting her masters win somewhere.
