Disha Patani has often dazzled on screen, but it’s her off-screen adventures that are now capturing attention. In a recent interview with Femina magazine, the actress opened up about her travel experiences, revealing that her trip to Japan had a profound impact on her.
Disha Patani says visiting Japan felt like “stepping inside an anime”; Antarctica is still on her bucket list
Describing the visit as “surreal,” Disha said, “I went to Japan, and it was like I stepped inside an anime; it was surreal.” Enchanted by the country’s vibrant culture, cuisine, and the whimsical charm of anime, she admitted that the experience was nothing short of transformative.
Her admiration for Japan doesn’t end at just visiting. The Yodha actress shared her wish to one day make the country a second home. “I’d love to live in Japan at some point – have one house there and one in India. That would be amazing,” she said, further expressing her fondness for Japan’s gaming culture and overall atmosphere.
But Disha’s wanderlust extends far beyond Asia. She also spoke about a long-standing dream to visit Antarctica—an ambition sparked in childhood. “Since I was a kid, I’ve dreamt of going to Antarctica. I used to watch so many documentaries on the Discovery Channel and think, ‘One day, I’ll go there.’ It’s still on my bucket list,” she shared.
Speaking of the professional front, Disha was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, followed by Kanguva. Besides her big-screen projects, the actress also made headlines for her appearance in Karan Aujla’s music video ‘Tell Me.’ She will be next seen in Welcome To The Jungle.
