Following reports that Off-White’s Air Jordan 1 will return this year in its “UNC” colorway, another collaborative silhouette from the mind of Virgil Abloh is on its way back to shelves.

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sesame” brings a new colorway to Abloh’s remix of the iconic sneaker. Originally, the neutral-toned sneaker was slated to release exclusively in Qatar in 2024, according to a reseller named Evren Sarak now selling several unreleased pairs. That drop was scrapped, but the Air Force 1 Low is now slated to release in the fall.

While maintaining all the hallmarks of previous Off-White Air Force 1s — including contrast stitching and hangtag on the Swoosh, a midsole “Air” mark and exposed foam — this iteration is dressed almost entirely in close shades of khaki. The Swoosh then pops out in metallic silver, while the hangtag provides a small burst of color in orange.

Originally appearing in white as part of Off-White’s seminal “The Ten” collection with Nike, Abloh’s Air Force 1 Low has previously released in a total of nine colorways, several of which were tied to museum exhibitions. The last one, in “Light Green Spark,” came in 2022 for the “Figures of Speech” exhibition’s turn at the Brooklyn Museum.

Off-White x Nike releases continued for several years after Abloh passed in 2021, but the last sneakers came in 2023 and were made up predominantly of less-hyped silhouettes including the Air Force 1 Mid and Air Terra Forma. After a brief pause in the partnership, two of the original models from “The Ten” collection will soon be making their return to much fanfare.

Last year, after LVMH had purchased a 60-percent stake in Off-White in 2021, the brand was sold to Bluestar Alliance, the portfolio of which also includes Palm Angels, Hurley and English Laundry.

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Sesame” will release this fall, likely through the Snkrs app and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $150.
