Top Ankle Bracelets to Wear With Flip-Flops
Just as flip-flops have staged a triumphant return this season, another nostalgic Y2K trend is now following suit: the anklet. From runways to celebrities and style influencers, the anklet trend has been slowly reemerging in newly imagined forms with modern, elevated twists. Think freshwater pearl accents, delicate gold box chains, and grown-up takes on the vibrant beads that once ruled summer camp. The latest A-lister to confirm the anklet revival for summer 2025? Gigi Hadid.
While promoting her new collaboration with Havaianas in New York this week, the model styled a tweed Marc Jacobs minidress with a vibrant pair of Havianas’ Yellow Pop Flip-Flops. But it was her unexpected colorful beaded anklet, playfully resting atop the casual rubber flip-flops, that truly made the look pop while adding a nostalgic twist to her high-low ensemble.

Gigi is hardly the first celebrity to co-sign the return of anklets (though everyone knows that once a Hadid wears something, it *really* takes a trend to new heights). Earlier this year, Kylie Jenner attended Chanel’s spring 2025 couture show wearing a mini skirt suit that she accessorized with a Chanel double-wrap chain anklet and pumps. The elevated styling of her look proved that today’s wave of anklets aren’t just reserved for the beach, instead they serve as a chic way to upgrade even your best heels. (Taking a beachier route, however, her older sister Kim hit the actual beach just last month wearing stacks of diamond anklets.)

During a time when fashion is gravitating towards towards playful, childlike fun — from the Labubu takeover to jelly sandals to bag and shoe charms — it’s no surprise that yet another throwback trend of our youth is back on the scene. But the beauty of this particular anklet resurgence is the range of style in which you have to choose from — jewelry brands like Jenny Bird are leaning into luxe, minimalist anklets with stunning and simple gold and silver chain designs to choose from, while brands like Dorsey and Free People are taking a campier route (literal summer camp, that is) with new takes on beaded and charmed anklets.
Whether you’re looking for something minimal and sleek to top off your ballet flats and pumps, or you prefer the Gigi Hadid route of beaded anklets paired with casual flip-flops, this season is full of chic anklet options to shop. Keep scrolling to add some of summer’s standouts to your cart now.

Best Anklets for Summer 2025
Jenny Bird Dhani Anklet
From simple silver and gold chains to full pre-curated anklet stacks, Jenny Bird is doubling down on its anklet collection this season in the best way possible. Case in point? This boxy gold anklet is just chunky enough to stand out against all your sandals and flats, and as a bonus, it’s completely water-resistant, so you can keep it on all summer long.
Monica Vinader Beaded Double Chain Anklet
Simple yet stunning, Monica Vinader’s double chain design is a two-in-one anklet that allows for effortless styling this season. Sure, you could mix and match several of your favorite anklets to build your own sstack, but this one takes all the work out of that and leaves you with a layered look that has just as much of an impact.
Wolf & Badger Jetsetter Beaded Anklet
This looks just like the beaded jewelry you made at summer camp (in the best way possible), and if that won’t give you all the carefree vibes this season, what will? Whether you’re wearing it with white sneakers, sandals, or boat shoes, trust me when I say this one brings on the color and the fun.
