Following the release of the 2024 docuseries Quiet On Set, which shed light on several ex-child stars’ negative experiences behind-the-scenes, Lisa Vidal was asked how she and her family kept her sister Christina Vidal, who starred in the Nickelodeon series Taina, safe during her childhood. Lisa replied, “We Puerto Rican!” before adding, “We’re a very close family, very protective, so we were always kind of covered and looking out for each other — and looking out for her, especially.” She added that her mom and sister Tanya Vidal, who was also in the business, were “well aware” of the dangers within the child acting industry.
