Puma and French designer Louis Gabriel Nouchi have teamed up again to release part two of their collaborative Mostro Mule style, introducing new colorways of the shoe, which will be available on Saturday.
The Mostro silhouette from 1999 is reinterpreted to feature a backless, streamlined shape and slip-on fit, showcasing one of the signature details of the Mostro style: spikes. Following a January release featuring tonal black-and-white options, the new two-tonal colorways offered in this collection are brown and dark green.
Commenting on the new collaborative creation, Nouchi said in a statement, “I synthesized the essence of the iconic Mostro shoes into a radical mule design using a single material, transforming it into both a design object and a comfortable sneaker.”

Lily Templeton wrote a review of LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi’s fall 2025 show for WWD in January, making note of the Puma shoes: “Zippers bisecting silhouettes vertically felt aggressive, as did spiked gloves and sock sneakers, the latest iteration of his Puma collaboration. They hammered home the impression that when it comes to his quest to put all bodies on an equal footing, Nouchi isn’t one to go down without a fight.”

The Mostro style, which gets its moniker from the Italian word for “monster,” is often a source of inspiration for Puma. The brand collaborated with Concepts, for example, to release a collection in April featuring the Mostro Fey silhouette, a spiky take on the classic mary jane shoe. And Puma has worked with A$AP Rocky to reimagine the style as well.
