Jr. NTR and Lakshmi start with their destined marriage. The duo never knew each other, and were completely unaware of the other’s presence when their families arranged their wedding. The duo got married on May 5, 2011. Since the two hardly knew each other, it took some time for them to adjust, especially for Pranathi.

With time Pranathi became the biggest support to her husband and stood with him through all the highs and lows. In an old interview with the Deccan Chronicle, Jr NTR had opened up about his wife, Lakshmi and had also labelled her as the ‘anchor’ of his life and said:

“She (Lakshmi Rao) has played a vital part in changing me into what I am now. I really do feel special being married to this wonderful woman. She has done a lot for me, and she is my anchor after my mum in my house, and that’s the other reason for me to stay at home. I am very cozy at home and I never really feel this need to go out.”
