The five-day total now stands at a commendable Rs. 38.41 crore. With two more days to go in the first week, the film is on track to finish its Week 1 with a total exceeding Rs. 45 crore – an excellent outcome given its modest expectations prior to release.

The daily trajectory has been very encouraging. It opened on Friday with Rs. 7.20 crore, saw significant growth over the weekend with Rs. 9.81 crore on Saturday and Rs. 11.70 crore on Sunday, followed by a steady Monday at Rs. 4.60 crore and then a surprise jump on Tuesday. What has worked further in favour of Bhool Chuk Maaf is the lack of any major Hindi release on the horizon. With Housefull 5 being the next big-ticket offering, scheduled to arrive later, this gives Bhool Chuk Maaf a clear runway to build on its current momentum. Industry insiders believe the film can post a very strong Week 2 as well, especially if weekday collections continue to hold at these levels.

Trade sources have already begun referring to Bhool Chuk Maaf as the surprise of the season, and if this trend continues, the film could eye a lifetime total in the Rs. 70–75 crore range, if not more.
