Aishwarya Rai recently took to her Instagram handle and dropped a behind-the-scenes video from her stunning first look at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. The video became more special after the actress chose the song, Tere Bina, from the 2007 film, Guru to play in the background. For those unaware, Abhishek and Aishwarya worked in seven films together, but Guru was most special for their relationship. It was during the promotions of Guru that Abhishek proposed to Aishwarya, asking her for a lifetime of togetherness, and the rest is history. Fans felt the choice of music was a subtle nod to her bond with Abhishek.
In the video, fans got to see a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes process of how Manish Malhotra planned it from scratch, and artisans weaved the different pieces into a saree. Apart from the craftsmanship, it showed Aishwarya wearing a wonderful saree along with eye-catching necklaces and rings with over 500 carat Mozambique rubies and uncut diamonds encrusted in 18k gold. A highlight in the video was how Aishwarya’s daughter, Aaradhya, accompanied her throughout the whole process and posed with her mother for pictures.
