Nicole Scherzinger is still in the midst of her Broadway era and the singer arrived at the 2025 New Dramatists luncheon at the New York Marriott Marquis on Tuesday in New York City wearing an all-black ensemble with matching thigh-high boots.
The “Sunset Blvd.” star has been attending nearly every Broadway-centered event since her turn on the show. This year, the tributes go to Tina Landau, an award-winning playwright, lyricist and director, and Tony Award winner Idina Menzel.

Scherzinger kept her ensemble understated going for a short-sleeve knit sweater in black with floral designs around the rounded neckline. To continue the monochrome look, she wore the sweater tucked into a black LaQuan Smith high-waist wool miniskirt with corset detailing around the waist.
For shoes, the former Pussycat Dolls member wore a pair suede thigh-high boots, also in black. The boots featured a pointed toe, a slouchy fit around the thigh, an inside zipper closure and a cut out at the heel, exposing the foot.

The event appeared to be more casual than the recent events Scherzinger has attended. She is fresh off the Met Gala, which took place earlier this month, and the 2025 Time 100 Gala, which took place in April.
The New Dramatists luncheon called for cocktail attire and as an honoree, Menzel kept her look simple wearing a white knit dress with a Gracen knit cardigan from Simkhai, with pointed-toe pumps in beige.
Scherzinger is currently starring in “Sunset Blvd.” on Broadway. She is playing the role of Norma Desmond. The production is a reimagined version of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical and is directed by Jamie Lloyd. The show is playing at the St. James Theatre.
