Olivia Dupuis, a long-time PR executive at AMC, has been promoted.
The company has upped Dupuis to executive vp publicity at AMC Networks. In her new role, she’ll lead publicity and talent relations full portfolio of networks and streaming platforms, as well as movie distributors Independent Film Company and RLJE Films.
Dupuis will continue to report to AMC Networks chief communications officer Georgia Juvelis and work alongside Jim Maiella, executive vp corporate communications.
“I’m incredibly proud to be part of a company that continues to deliver some of the most compelling and culturally relevant storytelling in television and film,” said Dupuis in a statement. “It’s been a privilege to help shape the voice and visibility of these iconic franchises and brands, and I’m excited to lead our talented team as we champion the next generation of bold, ambitious programming.”
Said Juvelis, “Olivia is a tremendous leader and gifted strategist who has been critical to helping cement AMC Networks’ reputation as a premier destination for groundbreaking television and film. I’m thrilled for her to lead a dynamic team responsible for driving attention and acclaim for our high-quality series and films, while also serving as a trusted partner to our incredible creative talent.”
Dupuis joined AMC Networks — then known as Rainbow Media — in 2007, first working in corporate communications before moving to consumer PR at AMC. She had a hand in publicity campaigns for a host of series from the cable network’s golden era, including Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead and Halt and Catch Fire, among other shows. She continues to lead press efforts for the Walking Dead and Anne Rice franchises at AMC and AMC+.
