Adidas and Wales Bonner are uniting coastal and urban energies in their new spring 2025 collection, featuring apparel, accessories and footwear, available on Wednesday. The athletic giant and luxury label, which have collaborated since 2020, draw inspiration for their latest collection from port towns, where diverse cultures and influences can be found.

Homing in on the intersection of athleticism and elegance, the drop encompasses anoraks and shorts, tracksuits, hoodies, polos, T-shirts and skirts. Several footwear options are available, including both sneakers and sandals. Additional items featured include a large suede bowling bag, a smaller leather bowling bag, and Three Stripes socks.

The campaign showcases life at a crossroads, highlighting both the buzz of urban spaces and the tranquility of open horizons. Brazilian and Barcelona FC soccer player Raphinha is one of the faces of the seaside-set campaign.

When it comes to footwear, the collection includes a fresh collaborative silhouette as well as two reinterpreted archival Adidas styles. The WB Karintha maintains an innate Adidas quality but is completed by Wales Bonner. The shoe features a low-profile outsole with a contrast grip pattern that extends to the sidewalls. The T-toe upper is available in two versions: one sequined with brown satin accents and the second option features a toffee-hued suede with a subtle Three Stripes design.

A second footwear silhouette is the WB Superstar Hi, which reimagines a classic silhouette with a thinner sole and a suede upper featuring perforated Three Stripes.

Lastly, the Adilette style, embodying the coastal energy of the collection, is redone with a leather footbed and a leather strap handwoven in Brazil.

Wales Bonner was founded in 2014 by British-Jamaican designer Grace Wales Bonner, who just recently participated in the Met Gala for the first time as she served on the host committee and had multiple pieces featured in the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” exhibit.

Wales Bonner is well known for her shoes, among other creations. Samantha Conti reviewed the Wales Bonner fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection for WWD, writing of the shoes featured, “Footwear — for both men and women — also had an arty bent. There were flat, patent leather studded boots and mary jane sneakers done in Neoprene and suede with a gold leather strap. It was beautiful — and sensible — footwear for all those artists who spend long hours on their feet, running creative marathons.”
