Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service, continues to carve its niche in the OTT landscape with a bold and eclectic content slate. The streaming service recently released the corporate drama Pyar, Paisa, Profit, which has already begun sparking conversations. Based on Durjoy Dutta’s best-selling novel, ‘Now That You’re Rich, Let’s Fall in Love’, the 20-episode corporate drama explores ambition, relationships, and the high-stakes grind of the venture capital world.
RJ Mahvash on her personal relatability to her character in Amazon MX Player’s Pyar, Paisa, Profit, “I learned that being too nice can sometimes lead to people taking you for granted”
Directed by Prashant Singh, the show follows four young professionals—Abhijeet, Saurabh, Shruti, and Garima as they juggle cutthroat careers and messy personal lives in Mumbai. Boasting a talented ensemble cast, featuring Mihir Ahuja, RJ Mahvash, Pratik Yadav, Shivangi Khedkar, Nitish Sharma, and Naman Upadhyaya in pivotal roles, Pyar, Paisa, Profit balances youthful energy with raw emotional depth, delivering characters you’ll root for, judge, and ultimately relate to.
RJ Mahvash, who essays the role of Garima in this series, shared what drew her to the character, “What instantly pulled me toward my character Garima was how much of myself I saw in her. She’s independent, driven, and determined to prove she can make it on her own terms—all while balancing emotional vulnerability. I have been through something similar. Back when I was working in the corporate space, I’d often find myself emotionally invested in people and workplace dynamics. But over time, I learned that being too available or too nice can sometimes lead to people taking you for granted. That fine balance—staying kind yet firm, and knowing when to say no politely, is something I’ve always struggled with, and that’s exactly what I see in Garima.”
Pyar, Paisa, Profit is now available to stream for free exclusively on Amazon MX Player, available through its apps on mobile, Amazon’s shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, and Connected TVs.
