Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir gifted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a dated photo of a Chinese military drill as a souvenir and falsely presented it as its own strike against India.
The photo is an old picture used multiple times over the last five years.
The photo was reportedly presented at a high-profile dinner hosted by Pakistan Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff. The event, meant to honour the political leadership, the armed forces’ “steadfast commitment,” and the “indomitable spirit” of the people of Pakistan as seen during “Marka-e-Haq – Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos,” became the subject of widespread mockery on social media.
