A 45-year-old dance teacher was arrested on charges of raping a two-and-a-half-year-old girl during a summer camp in Maharashtra’s Ulhasnagar, police said.
The incident came to light when the minor returned home and was groaning in pain. When her parents came to know about the incident, they lodged a complaint at the police station. Police then began a manhunt to catch him.
Under the guidance of Ulhasnagar DCP Sachin Gore and Vitthalwadi police station senior officer Anil Padwal, the accused was arrested from his house.
The accused was presented before an Ulhasnagar court the following day, where he was sent to police custody for three days.
