It was on May 25, 2025, when Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were spotted at the Hanuman mandir in Ayodhya. Virat and Anushka were seen offering their prayers in the mandir, while the cricketer asked the pandit to put tika on every person’s forehead, and it was really a humble and sweet thing for him to do.
In the glimpses, Anushka looked the prettiest as she donned a pink-toned chikankari salwar suit. Soft makeup and open hair added stars to her look. Virat, on the other hand, donned a white-toned shirt. The couple took blessings from the pandit ji, and the duo proves every time that they are each other’s soulmates.

Soon after the same, Virat and Anushka reached Vrindavan to meet Premanand Ji Maharaj. In the glimpse, Virat was seen holding a machine, which is used to count the chant. In the several clips that made rounds on social media, Anushka was also seen asking Premanand Ji Maharaj if they could achieve the thing that they sought if they chanted, to which the spiritual guru said that it was achievable.

Virat Kohli has transformed and evolved over the years, especially after his marriage to Anushka Sharma. The cricketer, who once asked the reporters if he looked ‘puja path’ type, is now going to the holy shrines and offering prayers, and it itself proves how much Virat has changed. Well, the cricketer credited this to his wife, which also proves how doting of a husband he is.
In an old interview on RCB’s podcast, Virat Kohli talked about Anushka Sharma’s contribution to his life. The cricketer shared that meeting Anushka changed him in many ways, which he could never experience. He shared that to move forward with someone in life, one needs to adapt and accept a lot of things, see things through his/her partner’s point of view as well, but the first step was to open up.
Virat further shared that he is from Delhi and has a certain way of thinking, but meeting Anushka was a point when he realised that he needed to see things from someone else’s perspective as well. Virat mentioned that he gets a lot of inspiration at his home, and he remained stunned to see how his wife took all the challenges of becoming a mother, which is way too much, and he didn’t even face 5 per cent of what she has gone through.
