Travis Hunter is now a married man.
The Jacksonville Jaguars star tied the knot with his fiancée, Leanna Lenee, and bought her a Mercedes G-Wagon after they faced criticism about their relationship.
The couple exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony at The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens, Tenn., on Saturday, according to the Daily Mail.
Lenee, born Leanna De La Fuente, wore a strapless white gown by New York designer Justin Alexander, while the groom matched in an all-white tuxedo.
Guests wore all black to the nuptials and the reception was held in a clear and black tent decorated with black chairs, white flowers and candles.
The menu consisted of salad, stuffed chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, Maine lobster tail and a rice option. For the dessert, the wedding guests enjoyed the five-tier cake.
Hunter, 22, ended his ceremony with a bang by surprising his new wife, 23, with a luxury black Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 Brabus 800, valued at six figures.
According to a video shared online, Lenee cut a black ribbon as the crowd counted down to one and looked at her husband in awe as the pricey vehicle was revealed.
Hunter, who was chosen by the Jaguars as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft last month, and Lenee have faced public backlash about their romance.
In December 2024, the discourse surrounding Hunter and Lenee’s relationship heightened after a 2022 video resurfaced of the couple reflecting on when they first started dating.
In the clip, Lenee admitted that she wasn’t initially interested in the athlete, who slid into her DMs.
“I just didn’t respond to him. He wasn’t my type,” she confessed, before saying that she finally gave in to one of his messages after her brother told her who Hunter was.
Fans also criticized Lenee for not giving Hunter a standing ovation when his name was called as the Heisman Trophy winner.
According to a video shared online, Hunter’s college coach, Deion Sanders, had to nudge Lenee in the back before she got out of her seat to stand and clap for the cornerback.
Last December, the former Colorado Buffaloes player said his then-fiancée got drunk and cried herself to sleep after she received harsh online criticism from fans for how she acted during his Heisman ceremony.
“Y’all hate on me, then you go hate on my girl,” he said during a live Twitch stream at the time.
“I feel the same thing that she feels. We’re inseparable. We’re with each other. If she’s hurting, I’m hurting.”
At that time, Hunter deactivated his Instagram after a video of Lenee — who was dressed as a naughty school girl — dancing on another man went viral.
