Newbie parents, Paritosh Tripathi and Meenakshi are on cloud nine as they welcomed their first baby girl on May 23, 2025. Taking to his Instagram handle, Paritosh shared the joyous news of welcoming their little bundle of joy. For the unversed, on December 31, 2024, the couple announced that they were pregnant. Now, in an interview with Hindustan Times, the new daddy revealed that he and wife, Meenakshi always manifested to have a daughter.
Paritosh Tripathi reveals he and his wife, Meenakshi Chand always wanted a baby girl
In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the new father shared details of the timing of their baby girl’s birth and shared that her arrival is nothing but a divine blessing to them. Being on cloud nine, Paritosh shared that he was feeling extremely happy as he welcomed their baby girl. The actor also revealed that he and Meenakshi did manifestation to have a baby girl. In his words:
“She arrived on May Friday at 10.10pm, on the auspicious occasion of Ekadashi. We manifested a daughter and here she is. She is like a divine blessing for us. Just three days before Meena’s delivery, I told her: ‘Bitiya hi aa rahi hai’. I had a gut feeling. For parents, a kid is a blessing. Beta hota toh bhi achcha hota, par beti hui toh bahut achcha lag raha hai.”

In the same interview, the new mum opened up about her experience of holding the baby girl for the first time in her arms. She shared that their families have already started comparing the baby’s facial features with the couple. Meenakshi also shared how their baby girl is a perfect combination of Uttarakhand, Meenakshi’s native state and Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh. For the uninitiated, Paritosh is from Deoria, Uttar Pradesh. Sharing her experience, Meenakshi said:
“When I took her in my arms, it was a divine feeling. Our families have already started matching our daughter’s facial features to us. She’s a perfect combo of Uttarakhand (her native state) and Purvanchal.”

Further in the interview, Paritosh shared that he and his wife, Meenakshi, have not yet finalised any name for their baby girl. The actor revealed that they will keep the little one’s name as per astrology. Paritosh also shared that after Meenakshi recovers, the couple will visit his hometown, Deoria, to take the blessings of Kuldevi.

In the same interview, Paritosh also shared that he was shooting for his film, Gram Panchayat Amrika, when he got to know that the due date had arrived. The actor shared that the film’s shooting has been shifted to mid-week of June for him. Paritosh opened up about his wish to spend more time with his newborn baby and his wife. In his words:
“I was shooting for the film Gram Panchayat Amrika on the outskirts of Lucknow, but as the due date arrived, I came to Meena. Now, the shoot has been shifted to mid-June for me. I don’t know how I would manage now, but I will surely want to be with my wife and daughter.”
