While Nike’s 30th anniversary Air Max 95 campaign has been brimming with new styles, collaborations on the model have thus far been infrequent. That will soon change with the launch of a two-sneaker link-up with South Korea boutique Worksout and later, with an upgraded Nike SB Air Max 95 equipped for skateboarding. Also joining the ranks is a special project with denim pioneer Levi’s, which just received a first-look teaser Saturday courtesy of rapper Lil Yachty.
Taking to his @lilnonsen5e Instagram account, Lil Yachty shared first a look at three upcoming Levi’s x Nike Air Max 95 colorways before following up with an on-foot look which was paired with Levi’s x Nike apparel.
The collaboration’s footwear is confirmed to be released in three colors: Black/Anthracite/Gym Red/Black (HM4743-001), Obsidian/Gym Red/Obsidian (HM4743-400) and Light Orewood Brown/Gym Red/White (HM4743-100). Put more succinctly, the pairs will come in black, blue and white looks.

Each pair is decked out fully with Levi’s denim uppers with intricate stitching and raw, fraying edges which resemble a pair of well-loved jeans. All three styles come with alternate red laces, which is likely a nod to the red lines found on selvedge denim edges. Along with the sneakers, Lil Yachty wore a co-branded Levi’s x Nike Type II denim jacket and jeans in matching washed blue shades.
Levi’s and Nike, Inc. have worked together numerous times over the years with their most notable collaboration being a trio of Levi’s x Air Jordan 4s from 2018. Like the upcoming Air Max 95s, the Air Jordan 4s were offered in black, blue and white looks. The Air Max 95 collection will mark the first collaboration between the brands since a customizable Nike By You product offering in 2019.
An official release date for the Levi’s x Nike Air Max 95s has not been announced, but the three-sneaker collaboration is expected to be released this summer. Each pair has a tentative retail price of $225.
