    Kuberaa teaser: Dhanush, Nagarjuna’s film explores power and wealth

    ‘Kuberaa’ teaser starring Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna is finally out. The film, directed by Sekhar Kammula, is set to release in theatres on June 20. The film also stars Nagarjuna and Jim Sarbh in significant roles.

    The teaser gives a glimpse of the powerful storyline with background music and score adding the right touch of drama. The teaser delves into the themes of power and wealth, following the journey of Dhanush’s character, a homeless man from Mumbai’s Dharavi slums who climbs the ranks to become a powerful mafia leader. Nagarjuna takes on a layered, complex role in the film, while Rashmika portrays a woman yearning for more than her modest middle-class life. Jim Sarbh rounds out the ensemble as a suave, sharp-witted businessman.

    Kuberaa is touted to be a socio-drama that explores themes of ambition, morality, and power dynamics. The film was shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, and will have a pan-Indian release, including dubbed versions in Kannada and Malayalam as well. It is jointly produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd banner.

    The music of the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. ‘Kuberaa’ will release in theatres on June 20.
