Directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films in association with Amazon MGM Studios, Bhool Chuk Maaf marks the Hollywood studio’s Indian film debut. The science fiction romantic comedy features Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles, alongside Seema Pahwa in a pivotal part.
Set in Varanasi, the film blends small-town charm with a sci-fi twist. It follows the story of Ranjan, played by Rajkummar Rao, a government employee and hopeless romantic who is eager to marry his girlfriend, Titli Mishra (Wamiqa Gabbi). But just as their wedding celebrations begin, a mysterious time loop disrupts their plans — trapping Ranjan in a never-ending cycle that resets to the Haldi ceremony. Titli remains unaware of the bizarre phenomenon, while Ranjan struggles to break free and find a way to move forward.
