Chrishell Stause is feuding with pal Emma Hernan because of her boyfriend’s controversial views.
When a fan asked the “Selling Sunset” star “what’s happening” between the co-stars, Stause replied, “Ask her about her MAGA bf,” referencing Donald Trump’s slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
The reality star then further claimed via her Instagram comment that Hernan’s boyfriend — whose name she did not reveal — told her “pronouns are dumb” and that he allegedly “likes to use the N word.”
Stause’s partner, Georgia “G Flip” Flipo, uses they/ them pronouns and their gender is non-binary. The couple tied the knot in May 2023 and have been taking steps to expand their family.
“I just can’t with that. Too old to allow that in,” Stause, 43, added in her post about Hernan’s new man.
She concluded with a message that showed hope for the friendship, though, writing, “Love her from afar.”
Page Six has reached out to Hernan’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back. The former model also does not appear to have addressed the rift on social media.
Although the identity of Hernan’s mystery beau has not been confirmed, Cosmopolitan magazine reported his name is Blake Davis, citing online speculation.
Several users on Reddit then shared social media posts from an individual who is purportedly Davis, who has seemingly made fun of dolls who represent those with disabilities or are plus size. Page Six has been unable to confirm whether Davis is the person dating Hernan.
Despite being on a reality show, the Netflix star has been low-key about her romantic relationships on TV.
Her co-stars previously suspected she had rekindled a fling with an ex named Peter Cornell, who also worked at The Oppenheim Group, the real estate firm on which “Selling Sunset” is based.
Hernan also quipped about possibly texting and going for coffee with Ben Affleck after matching on the exclusive dating app Raya. However, a rep for the A-list actor said at the time, “Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years.”
Hernan and Stause will both star on Season 9 of “Selling Sunset.” An official premiere date for the new season has not yet been announced.
