Netflix dropped the official Season 3 trailer, key art, and new photos on May 8, and everything’s coming up Georgia (Brianne Howey) in the wake of her arrest. The entire town of Wellsbury on edge as Georgia awaits her fate.

Ahead of her murder trial, Georgia is put on house arrest, complete with an ankle monitor. Georgia goes a little stir crazy from being confined to her house. “I’m not a bad person, but if you come face to face with bad, you become a little bad yourself,” she says. For all the Georgia and Joe (Raymond Ablack) fans, looks like these two get a little one-on-one time in Season 3. “You can’t give up,” Joe tells Georgia in one of her lower moments. Meanwhile, Ginny (Antonia Gentry) is struggling with the weight of her mom’s arrest and possible conviction. With so much uncertainty, Ginny is feeling the pressure.

When is Ginny & Georgia Season 3 coming out?

Ginny & Georgia Season 3 will premiere on June 5, 2025. The season will consist of 10 one-hour episodes.

For those wondering about the future of Ginny & Georgia beyond Season 3, you can rest easy. Netflix renewed the show for Seasons 3 and 4 in May 2023.

Netflix announced in April 2024 that the third season was officially underway in Toronto, Canada. The official Ginny & Georgia Instagram account announced on September 15 that filming had wrapped. “This season is really special and it’s because of the heart, hard work, dedication and endless talent poured into it by everyone who worked on it. Thank you to our incredible cast and crew and I’m so proud to show the fans what we’ve created,” the post’s caption read.

The streamer dropped the first Season 3 teaser on April 17. “What happens when everything falls apart?” Ginny wonders in the Season 3 teaser. With Georgia locked up, her family’s world has been completely upended. However, our girl Georgia is crafty. She’ll find a way out. “I’m not a bad person. It’s all about perception,” Georgia declares in the teaser’s final moments.

Brianne Howey and Antonia Gentry will return as Wellsbury’s unforgettable mother-daughter duo, Georgia and Ginny Miller. Howey shared sweet photos from the first Season 3 table read featuring fellow cast members. “Let the games begin! season 3 LETS GO #ginnyandgeorgia,” she captioned the photos.

The show will be welcoming new characters in Season 3, according to Deadline. Manifest alum Ty Doran will play Wolfe, a laid back guy in Ginny’s poetry class who doesn’t particularly like poetry. Noah Lamanna plays a super smart skateboarder who is friends with Marcus and Silver, and who peer tutors.

As previously announced, Sarah Glinski has joined Season 3 as showrunner and executive producer alongside creator and executive producer Sarah Lampert.

How did Season 2 end?

Season 2 concluded with an epic cliffhanger: Georgia’s arrest. After Georgia got her dream wedding, she was carted away in handcuffs by police officers. Cordova (Alex Mallari Jr.) had Georgia arrested for killing Cynthia’s husband, Tom.

Georgia’s always managed to get out of complicated situations, but this will be her toughest fight yet. After all, Georgia did kill the comatose Tom, but she thought of it as an act of mercy. Season 2 showrunner Debra J. Fisher previously told TV Insider Cynthia didn’t know at the end of Season 2 that Georgia had been arrested for the murder of her husband. She teased that Season 3 will be a “very wild ride” once Cynthia learns what happened.

What will Ginny & Georgia Season 3 be about?

“We ended Season 2 with Georgia arrested for murder — ruining her fairy tale wedding and leaving the fate of the Miller family hanging in the balance. It’s always been Ginny & Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite as hard as it will in Season 3. We are beyond excited to finally kick off production and keep bringing our fans the characters they love,” Lampert told Tudum.

As for Ginny and Marcus, this teen couple experienced their fair share of ups and downs in Season 2. Fisher told TV Insider that “anything is possible” regarding the couple’s future. “But where we ended them, there are issues with mental health that he needs to address,” she said, referring to Marcus’ battle with depression. “So, I think we’ve shown that they will always be in each other’s lives in some way. Even if it’s not romantic.”
