Actor Sooraj Pancholi makes his big-screen comeback today with his new film Kesari Veer, and superstar Salman Khan has expressed his full support in a touching gesture
Salman Khan cheers on Sooraj Pancholi’s comeback with Kesari Veer: “Subah Sooraj chamkega”
Right before the film’s release, Salman Khan shared a photo with Sooraj Pancholi on his official Instagram account. In the picture, both are dressed in black, striking a pose for the camera.
Along with the photo, Salman captioned it, “Abhi raat hai, subah Sooraj chamkega @soorajpancholi.” He also included the song Main Hoon Hero Tera in the background—a track Salman sang for Sooraj’s debut film Hero in 2015. Pancholi quickly responded to the post, commenting, “Love u sir!!”
The two actors share a strong bond, with Salman consistently supporting Pancholi, even through difficult times like the court case related to the death of actor Jiah Khan. Pancholi has often expressed that Salman never stopped believing in him.
In a previous interview with Bollywood Bubble, the Kesari Veer actor shared, “Salman sir only asked me one thing, which my father also asked, ‘Sooraj, have you done something wrong?’ When I said, ‘No sir, I have not,’ he never questioned me again. He gave me a chance purely based on trust. Also, having experienced a media trial himself, he was perhaps the best person to judge and trust me during that time.”
Kesari Veer marks a significant comeback for Sooraj Pancholi after several years away from the big screen. The film tells the story of Veer Hamirji Gohil, a courageous Rajput warrior who defended the Somnath Temple from invaders. Sooraj Pancholi plays the lead role of Hamirji Gohil, bringing to light the tale of this lesser-known hero.
The film also features prominent actors like Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma, marking their first collaboration with Sooraj Pancholi. Kesari Veer is now playing in cinemas across India.
