Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding has always been on headlines, but recently, the attention has shifted on to the extended family, who have made major contributions in their respective fields. One such member is Aman Majithia. He is Radhika’s brother-in-law, who has created his name in the fashion and pharmaceutical companies.
While the Ambani family has been a symbol of economic success, Aman brings his own touch of business on the table. Aman, who married Radhika’s sister, Anjali Merchant, has played an important role in spreading the family’s commercial limits by combining innovation with tradition.
Aman Majithia and Anjali Merchant’s Wedding
Radhika Merchant’s elder sister, Anjali Merchant is married to Aman Majithia, who is an entrepreneur by profession. Anjali and Aman got married back in 2020 in a lavish wedding in Goa. The wedding was nothing less than a star-studded event, as who’s who from different industries were in attendance to bless the couple. Due to Anjali’s father, Viren Merchant’s stature and connections in the business world, some of India’s biggest industrialists and tycoons were in attendance during Anjali and Aman’s wedding. Since their marriage, the couple has been living a private yet impactful life, away from constant attention from the media.
Who is Aman Majithia? Educational background and Early career life
Aman Majithia is not just Radhika’s jiju, but an already established name in the business industry, with a global educational background and a powerful influence in India’s business landscape. Aman was born into a business family and completed his higher education in the United States. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, as well as a diploma in political science and organisational behaviour from the University of Virginia.

Before starting his own business, Aman got significant corporate experience. He worked as a Business Analyst for Affiliated Computer Services before becoming Director of Amsal Chem Private Limited from 2012 to 2016. These positions gave him valuable insights into business operations and management, laying the groundwork for his next steps.
His existing business in Fashion and Pharmaceutical
Aman’s first significant step in the world of business was with Vataly, a fashion brand that he founded in January 2017. As per the official website of Vataly, Aman never wanted to do business in the fashion industry, but it was his interest in designs that led him to venture into the world of fashion. Aman Majithia opted for a completely different strategy with his fashion retail company, Vataly. He exposed his production and costing with the markups to his customers. The company has factories in Salem, Tiruppur, and Bengaluru. Unlike fast fashion giants that crowd the space, Vataly stood out by publicly sharing its cost structures and providing ethically manufactured clothing with clean aesthetics.
Apart from being the founder of Vataly, Aman Majithia is also the Associate Director (AD) of his father-in-law, Viren Merchant’s company, Encore Healthcare Private Limited. The son-in-law joined the company in May 2019, which has been crucial to its journey so far. With his experience as an entrepreneur, Aman manages overall operations at Encore Healthcare, which is reportedly worth around Rs. 2,000 crore. He has worked on combining departments, extending distribution channels, and keeping Encore flexible in a highly competitive pharmaceutical market.
Their Family Life
Aman and Anjali’s partnership extends beyond business to family life. They are proud parents of a son who brings joy into their lives. The family lives in Mumbai, where they balance their professional responsibilities with their personal happiness. Their son has been seen in public on occasion, most recently at his aunt, Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding events.
Aman Majithia represents the spirit of a modern entrepreneur, combining creativity, strategic thinking, and family values. His journey into fashion and pharmaceuticals shows his versatility and dedication to quality. Through his marriage to Anjali Merchant, he connects two major business families, extending his influence in India’s corporate world.
