A friend in need.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ friends Rob McElhenney and Kaitlin Olson gave a rare insight into the couple’s “difficult” legal war with Justin Baldoni.
McElhenney, who co-owns the Wrexham A.F.C. soccer team with the “Deadpool” actor, shared that the foursome has grown close through their business Venture — and even exchange joke videos throughout the day.
“It’s just our way of staying connected and navigating something together,” the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” actor, 48, told Variety.
“And also me giving and showing as much support as I possibly can with all the other stuff that he’s got going on, that I know is so difficult and challenging,” he added.
“We both are just trying to offer our support in any way that we can that doesn’t just simply add oxygen to the fire.”
Lively, 37, supported McElhenney and Olson’s joint interview by resharing their Variety cover on her Instagram Stories Wednesday.
“Babes ❤️🔥 The smartest, kindest, most talented couple,” she wrote atop the photo.
“They’re great parents. Not just to their kids. But to everyone in their orbit. We love sharing life with you both,” the mom of four added.
The drama for Lively and Reynolds, 48, kicked off last December when the “Gossip Girl” alum filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, accusing him of sexually harassing her on the set of their 2024 film, “It Ends With Us.”
The “Jane the Virgin” actor denied Lively’s claims and, in January, filed a $400 million suit against her, the “Red Notice” star and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, alleging defamation, extortion and more.
The couple’s pal Taylor Swift has also been dragged into the legal war as she was subpoenaed to testify in their upcoming trial, which is scheduled for March 2026.
Due to the “Bad Blood” singer, 35, being thrown into the legal war, she has reportedly “halted” her friendship with Lively.
