Aaradhya Bachchan once again managed to turn heads at the Cannes Film Festival as she walked hand-in-hand with her mother, Aishwarya, before the diva made her day 2 appearance on the red carpet. In a now-viral video and images from the event, the 13-year-old was seen dressed in an all-black look, exuding beauty and confidence. She wore chic black attire with black pants, a top and an overcoat. The young star kid left her hair open with a middle parting and soft layers. Aaradhya didn’t wear makeup but looked gorgeous as ever.
On the other hand, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan left the internet awestruck with her day 2 look at Cannes 2025. She turned up in Gaurav Gupta’s classic black sequin gown, which reflected a mix of drama and elegance. The diva complimented her outfit by draping a voluminous ivory-hued shawl that added an old-Hollywood kind of charm to her look. To let her outfit shine, she didn’t wear any accessories. At the same time, Aishwarya changed her hairstyle after a long time with a side parting and soft waves which accentuated the beauty of her attire.

From a young age, Aaradhya accompanies her mother at the Cannes Film Festival, and the duo ensures that they share the frame before Aishwarya leaves for the red carpet. In 2017, the actress wore an iconic Michael Cinco couture voluminous gown, and Aaradhya posed with her mother in a similar princess-like pink gown. Later, in 2019, the Dhoom 2 actress stunned in a dramatic metallic gold gown with a long train and leaf-cut detailing where Aaradhya twinned with her mom in a lemon yellow asymmetrical tulle dress. Even in 2024, the young starlet wore an all-black ensemble as she walked alongside her mother before the event.

During a conversation with Film Companion, she once shared why it’s special for her to bring her daughter along with her. The actress shared that she had not discussed the significance of the event with her until then, but she believes Aaradhya understands its essence where she knows some faces and reconnects with other people. When asked about what her daughter has taken away from the experience, Aishwarya said:
“Isn’t this a question that she should be answering? At some point in her life, I guess she will.”
