Urvashi Rautela recently sat for an interview with the IANS, wherein she shared that while they were heading towards the event, her car came to a sudden stop near a 70-year-old woman who was crossing the path, leading them to lurch forward, and her gown was torn at that moment. The actress said that she was not upset and worried about her dress rather, she felt gratitude for that elderly lady’s safety. Stating that it was a chance for her to walk the red carpet with a story worth telling, Urvashi said:
“As we hurried toward the event, our car came to a sudden stop elderly 70-year-old woman, full of life’s wisdom, crossed our path. Our driver’s swift action to protect her sent us lurching forward, and my gown, a vision of artistry, paid the price with a tear. Yet, in that moment, I felt not loss but gratitude for her safety, for our survival, and for the chance to walk the red carpet with a story worth telling.”
In the same interview, Urvashi shared that she feels that the true strength lies in perspective and in shaping the narratives, and thus, she chose to weave the tale rather than caring much about her dress being torn. She stated that she chose to walk down the red carpet not as a victim but as a queen. Sharing more about the same, Urvashi stated:
“True strength lies in perspective and in shaping our narrative. I choose to weave this tale not of a torn dress but of a heart intact, a spirit unbroken, and a commitment to shine for my nation.
