Jennifer Lopez picked out a dazzling pair of Dolce & Gabbana sandals to complement a Stephane Rolland gown for John Kander’s birthday celebration after party in New York City on Monday.

Lopez selected a piece from Stephane Rolland’s fall 2023 haute couture collection for the event. The long-sleeved fitted gown featured a high neck embellished with rows of large crystals, which picked up her hoop earrings, rectangular clutch and sandals. The white dress made an asymmetrical sculptural statement with the fabric structured to jut out at the hip and create a diagonal outline at the skirt. The skirt opening allowed for a leg-baring moment and kept her shoes visible as well. A long train contributed to the drama of the ensemble.

Creating a cohesive sparkling aesthetic for the after party ensemble, Lopez put on a pair of sandals from Dolce & Gabbana. The shoes featured a substantial rounded platform in front and a daring stiletto heel in back measuring several inches. A crystal-embellished strap reached across the toes while another encircled the ankle. This wasn’t the only eye-catching element of the design, as the shoes also gleamed with a metallic silver finish.

In the footwear realm, Dolce & Gabbana recently teamed up with Brazilian brand Havaianas again after a successful first drop released last summer. The brands return with a new collection of luxury flip-flops which became available last week. Outside of shoes, the luxury brand released a campaign for the 25th anniversary of its Light Blue fragrance starring Theo James and Vittoria Ceretti.

Lopez was in New York celebrating the 98th birthday of composer John Kander, and had several outfits on hand for the occasion — earlier in the night, she wore a peach-hued ensemble by The New Arrivals set off by custom transparent mules by Femme LA.
