Lucknow Super Giants star batter Nicholas Pooran was visibly furious after his run-out during LSG’s must-win clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Stadium. The incident occurred in the final over of LSG’s innings and later sparked an outburst in the dressing room, capturing the frustration of a side on the verge of elimination.

Batting first, LSG posted a strong total of 205 for 7, thanks to 65 from Mitchell Marsh and 61 by Aiden Markram. Pooran added a brisk 45 from 26 balls, but his dismissal in the final over proved a turning point in the innings. After slipping while attempting a second run earlier in the over, Pooran tried to sneak a bye on the next delivery but was run out by a direct hit from SRH keeper Ishan Kishan.

Pooran’s reaction was immediate and emotional. Back in the dressing room, he was seen throwing his gloves in frustration after Abdul Samad, LSG’s last hope, was dismissed on the penultimate ball. Cameras caught Pooran gesturing animatedly and venting his anger, with skipper Rishabh Pant seen observing the exchange.

Despite the competitive total, LSG had no answer to SRH’s explosive chase. Abhishek Sharma smashed 59 off 20 balls, and Heinrich Klaasen added 47 in 28 as SRH cruised to a six-wicket win.
