Directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Aditya Chopra, War 2 brings together Hrithik Roshan, reprising his role as the rogue RAW agent Kabir Dhaliwal, and Jr NTR, making his Bollywood debut as a formidable antagonist. The teaser opens with Jr NTR’s chilling voiceover as he tracks Kabir’s every move, setting the stage for an epic showdown.
Hrithik’s Kabir is depicted as meaner and bulkier, engaging in jaw-dropping action sequences—sword-fighting at a Shaolin Temple, and executing high-octane car chases. Kiara Advani makes a striking appearance in a glamorous bikini look, hinting at a romantic subplot with Hrithik’s character. The teaser, released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, features intense visuals of gunfights, hand-to-hand combat, and stunts on planes and trains, promising a cinematic spectacle.
War 2 is slated for a grand theatrical release on August 14, 2025, during the Independence Day weekend. The film, also starring Kiara Advani in her first YRF project, promises six epic action sequences, including mid-ocean boat chases and sword fights, filmed across five countries.
