Recently, Sakshi Sindwani, also known as ‘Style me up with Sakshi’, made her debut in Cannes. The fashion influencer was a vision to behold in her stunning black lehenga. The actress revealed that her outfit of choice was a tribute to Bollywood.

Sakshi Sindwani made her Cannes 2025 debut and made quite a first impression on everyone. The fashion influencer has always been a Bollywood girlie, and she showed this with her outfit of choice for the Cannes red carpet. Sakshi wore a black lehenga skirt with a mermaid cut. She also wore a beige embellished top and a very long dupatta with a bold black hue, which got mixed up with the soft tone of her blouse at the end. So, the dual-toned dupatta, with its strings of embellishments and silver embroidery, looked like a necklace and went well with her choli. Meanwhile, the ends looked like a long train attached to the skirt.

Sakshi Sindwani’s outfit already had many embellishments and dangling pieces on the blouse and the dupatta. So, the fashion influencer made the right choice of going for simple silver earcuffs, which were the only piece of jewellery she wore. Apart from that, she also wore a pair of gloves made with nude-tonednet fabric and decorated with crystal studs. Sakshi also sported a slicked-back bun and warm make-up in nude tones.

“This silhouette is a tribute to the early 2000s Lehenga silhouettes and embroideries that made Indian fashion so famous back in the day and truly changed the landscape of trends in our country. If I think of Bollywood, I think of the iconic dresses and lehengas worn by Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee and Kareen Kapoor Khan, and I was left very inspired!”

As per her Instagram posts, Sakshi Sindwani styled herself in a concept that she had innovated. The fashion influencer also called her outfit ‘a black masterpiece’, and most people will agree with the beautiful dreamy midnight-black look of the lehenga. Talking about the concept and idea, Sakshi Sindwani wrote on her Gram:
“For tonight, I reimagined that nostalgia into a ‘black masterpiece’—a tribute to the elegance of Cannes, with the heart of Bollywood stitched into every detail.”
