Brazilian footwear brand Melissa and Parisian label Maldito are dipping their toes into the western footwear category with a new collaboration offering an inventive take on the cowboy boot.

Marked at a price of $269 and available in sizes 5-10, the boots in the collection are offered in shiny pink, purple and black options. Maldito’s distinctive take on femininity is applied to the boots, with a wavy bow adorning the shaft. The silhouette also features a pointed toe and inwardly angled low block heel evoking the classic cowboy boot shape.

“The collaboration between Maldito and Melissa is a childhood dream come true,” said Francisco Terra, Maldito founder. “Melissa has always been a key reference in my imagination when it comes to Brazilian pop culture.​”

The collection releases in Brazil on May 20 exclusively on melissa.com.br, and it will hit the U.S. market on June 4 at shopmelissa.com.
