The CBSE Class 10 and 12 results 2025 were announced on May 13. Now, if you’re not satisfied with your marks, here’s your chance to get your answer sheets rechecked.
The board has rolled out a simpler, more transparent system. Students can now apply to get scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets, check them for mistakes, and if needed, go ahead with mark verification or re-evaluation of specific answers.
This year, CBSE has tweaked its post-result process. Students can only apply for re-evaluation after getting a scanned copy of their answer sheet. This makes it easier to spot errors first before asking for corrections.
“CBSE is giving an opportunity to the students to look at their answer books and inform the mistake so that the same can be rectified (if need be),” the board said.
CBSE VERIFICATION AND REVALUATION: KEY DATES
Here are the important dates and fees for the CBSE revaluation, re-counting, re-verification process:
- Class 10 students can apply for scanned copies from May 21
- Class 12 students can apply from May 27
- Photocopy fee is Rs 700 per subject
Once you’ve got the copy, you can verify your marks.
- Class 10 verification begins on May 28
- Class 12 verification begins on June 3
- Verification costs Rs 500 per subject.
Re-evaluation of specific answers (up to 10 per subject) will cost Rs 100 per question—but you can only apply for this if you’ve already got your scanned sheet.

IMPROVEMENT EXAMS AND FINAL MARKS
Improvement exams will be held in July 2025, and follow the same syllabus as the main boards.
Keep in mind: if your marks change, whether higher or lower, you’ll have to return your original marksheet and will be issued a new one.
