But the recent news of Paresh’s sudden exit from the highly anticipated movie sequel, Hera Pheri 3 has left everyone shocked and sad as well. Now, big news is coming up that Akshay Kumar, through his production, has sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal for a huge loss due to his unprofessional attitude. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the producers of Hera Pheri 3, Cape of Good Films, have sued Paresh Rawal for the huge loss of money invested in the film, worth Rs. 25 crore.
Paresh Rawal announced his exit from the cult comedy sequel, Hera Pheri 3 and later tweeted the reason behind it
As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Paresh stepped down from the project, Hera Pheri 3. A source close to Bollywood Hungama, shared that Paresh allegedly had some creative differences with the makers of the film and thus decided to step down for the significant project. Later, the news portal contacted the actor to confirm the news. Paresh agreed to the news of his exit from the cult comedy sequel. He was quoted as saying:
“Yes, it’s a fact.”
There has been quite a buzz surrounding the reason behind the actor’s sudden exit. One of the reasons circulated was that Paresh had some creative differences with the makers of the film. Following the ongoing buzz, on May 18, 2025, Paresh took to his X handle (formerly Twitter) and wrote a short note. He tweeted:
“I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENT WITH THE FILM MAKER . I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director.”
Akshay Kumar sends legal notice to Paresh Rawal through his production, Cape of God Films
As per Hindustan Time reports, Akshay Kumar, through his production, Cape of God Films, has sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal claiming damages worth Rs. 25 crore. A source revealed that Paresh had already started shooting for the film and also took his signing amount. As per the source, the signing amount was much more than the market value. The source was quoted as saying:
“As much as they didn’t want to take a legal route, and act of backing out has forced them to send a legal notice claiming damages. Paresh signed a contract to do the film, and even took a signing amount. The makers agreed to all his demands, and even paid him much more than the market value. He has been a part of all the core meetings taking Hera Pheri 3, and the intent is to take action as he has backed out after committing to the film and even shooting for it.

The source further revealed that Paresh didn’t give any logical reason for his sudden exit from the highly anticipated cult comedy sequel. The source also said that the sudden exit incurred a huge loss for the production as they have cleared the debts existing on the film. Revealing the facts that come up after Paresh’s exit, the source said:
“The act is unprofessional, and uncalled for. Paresh has given no logical reason for his exit to the team, leaving everyone furious and disappointed. Why should a producer suffer due to an unprofessional exit of another actor? He has to pay for the losses caused by sudden exit. Cape of Good Films had procured the rights of Hera Pheri 3 from multiple stakeholders, and even repaid all the debts existing on the film.”
