While thousands of fans rocked out to Guns N’ Roses concert in Mumbai over the weekend, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan skipped the legendary band’s first India performance in 13 years, opting out of the roaring crowd at the Mahalaxmi Race Course. Instead, she chose a cosy jam session at home with her husband Saif Ali Khan and their son Taimur.
Kareena shared a heartwarming glimpse of her “own band” in a series of Instagram stories. She captured the moment from outside the room, framing the father-son duo in a photo. The picture features Saif Ali Khan with a guitar in hand, gently guiding young Taimur through a music session. Taimur is seen sitting on a stool, focused intently as his father patiently teaches him how to strum the strings.
“Might have missed Guns N’ Roses…” Kareena captioned the first image. She followed it up with the same black-and-white photo, adding, “But I got my own band people” along with emojis of a fire, a heart, and a smiling face surrounded by hearts.
Guns N’ Roses, the iconic American rock band known for hits like ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and ‘November Rain’, returned to India after over a decade. Their May 17 performance featured the classic lineup, Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, alongside touring members Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Melissa Reese, and Isaac Carpenter.
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in ‘Singham Again‘, the latest installment in Rohit Shetty’s action franchise. The star-studded cast included Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor.
