Halle Berry looked like Hollywood royalty at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
The actress, 58, arrived for the Chopard Universe Gala Evening on Monday wearing a show-stopping maroon dress.
The strapless, structured satin bodice dipped into an elaborate, floor-length skirt that swirled up into an architectural masterpiece.
Berry completed her ensemble with matching pointed-toe pumps and long, dangly earrings.
The Oscar winner styled her hair in a wavy, voluminous bob, and she modeled classic makeup.
She led the celebrity red carpet arrivals for the jewelry brand’s gala, and all eyes were on her.
As Page Six Style previously reported, Berry — who is a festival jury member this year — was forced to change her outfit ahead of the annual event after its organizers released a new dress code: no more nudity (“for decency reasons”), and no “voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train.”
The “Catwoman” star said at a news conference last week, “I had an amazing dress by [Gaurav] Gupta to wear tonight, and I cannot wear it because the train’s too big.”
Though she “had to make a pivot,” she acknowledged that the nudity ban is “probably also a good rule.”
Berry was spotted on the opening ceremony red carpet in a dramatic (but decidedly not voluminous) Jacquemus gown. The look featured a halter neckline and bold black-and-white stripes, along with a playful pink ruffle in the back.
Despite her praise for the “nudity part” of the guidelines, the “Monster’s Ball” star was one of the most daringly dressed at the Met Gala earlier this month.
She turned heads in a striped and sequined gown by LaQuan Smith that showed swaths of skins so large, she was on the brink of a wardrobe malfunction.
But as one source recently told Page Six, “Halle marches to the beat of her own drum” and is “owning this age and stage of life beautifully.”
