Popular Haryana-based YouTuber, Jyoti Malhotra, who has a travel vlog channel called Travel with JO, is under arrest. This is because she has leaked sensitive information related to India to Pakistan’s intelligence. Her clips have come under the radar, and it has also revealed that she has links with a Pakistani officer at the High Commission of India. Now, Anupamaa actress, Rupali Ganguly, who is a patriot, went to X (formerly Twitter) to speak about the entire incident.

Jyoti reportedly in 2024 had accepted a special invitation from the High Commission of Pakistan, where she was called for an Iftar dinner. She had shared a clip that saw her sitting comfortably with a High Commission officer who was Danish and revealed to be familiar with him. Now, after Jyoti’s arrest, Rupali shared that such folks should not at all be spared. Rupali has always been in the limelight for her show, Anupamaa, and she has always expressed her voice. Rupali on the Jyoti arrest case tweeted:
“Such people do not even realize when their love for Pakistan turns into hatred for India. Initially they talk about ‘Aman Ki Aasha’ and ends up hating India. Don’t know how many such people are secretly working against the country, not a single one should be spared.”

It is interesting to note that, reportedly, the government had declared Danish a.k.a Ehsan-ur-Rahim non grata, and he was expelled on May 13, 2025, with espionage charges. One user on X, seeing Rupali’s tweet, commented, “Appreciate your efforts to support pro-India narratives.. others are still silent.. keep voicing it.. your tremendous fan base will soon follow the same… Jai Hind.” Another one wrote, “Is neech ko aisi maut maara jaaye ki desh drohiyo ki runh kaamp jaaye such a beech.” A third user also commented, “Bohot gaddar hain apne desh m aise tabhi to itni attack possible hai vrna kahi or ku nhi ho jaata kuch bhi glat jha kahte hai.”
Further police investigations have revealed that Malhotra had a close bond with Danish when she went to Pakistan for a trip in 2023. She got the visa via commission agents. Allegedly, Danish had introduced her to many Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs).
When Jyoti Malhotra showcased Pakistan in her clips
Jyoti had once posted a vlog on her channel where Danish was seen introducing her to the other guests. He had called her a YouTuber and a vlogger. Danish had called out her name and shared that her channel name is Travel with Jo, and she has over 100k followers. Jyoti in the video was also seen explaining the atmosphere at the Iftar party and shared that she was mesmerised by the arrangement at the embassy and was excited about the same.
Later, in the clip, Jyoti was seen with Danish, who then introduced his wife to Jyoti and all of them were seen talking about Pakistan’s National Day. The YouTuber left no stone unturned in asking the Indian attendees if they had visited Pakistan, and also asked them to talk about their experience. Jyoti already has 3.7 lakh subscribers on her YouTube channel and has around 1.3 lakh Instagram followers. As of now, she is in police custody.
