Ravi Mohan and Kenishaa Francis have been making headlines since they appeared at a wedding together. While the duo has often been the face of rumours regarding their link-up buzz, this time, it was followed by a heated controversy. The pictures gave birth to a messy back-and-forth between Kenishaa, Ravi Mohan and the latter’s ex-wife, Aarti. Now, Aarti’s mother has bashed the actor for his comment on her.
Ravi Mohan’s mother-in-law, Sujatha Vikayakumar, slammed the actor for calling her a homewrecker
Ravi Mohan broke his silence on the ongoing feud between his close friend and rumoured girlfriend, Kenishaa Francis and his ex-wife, Aarti. In the note, he shared about the emotional and financial abuse he had gone through. However, that didn’t age well, and now, his ex-saas, Sujatha Vijayakumar, has penned a long note to address the allegations. It was on May 17, 2025, when Sujatha stated:
“Dear all, I have been working as a producer for the last 25 years. Being a woman in this industry for such a long tenure requires tremendous effort- something I agree everyone will agree with. Throughout the journey, I have never interacted with the press, except during my movie releases. Today, I am compelled to speak publicly for the first time, in response to the serious allegations made against me.”
In the same note, Sujatha shared that she had been accused of being a tormentor, a family breaker, a gold digger, and a property exploiter. She added that she wanted to respond sooner, but chose silence- out of self-respect and for the greater good of her family and future generations. Unfortunately, however, that silence has now been misconstrued as manipulation. She shared that she now feels that the peace of her family is at risk. So, she has decided to speak. She stated:
“Now Mr. Jayam Ravi alleges that I used his name for surety for these financial dealings. I want to make it clear- I would never misuse his name, not even if he were just an actor. Being my son-in-law, how could I ever jeopardize his future like that? In fact, to protect him, I signed countless documents myself- sometimes on blank sheets handed over by financiers, sometimes without knowing what came next- all to ensure that his name was never burdened.”

In the same post, Sujatha Vikayakumar revealed that she has collaborated with Ravi in the capacity of an actor on multiple occasions and tried her best not to mix family bonds with professional commitments. However, she kept all the financial transactions recorded for the sake of the films, hence the allegations on her that she was using Ravi’s name for fianncial delays was absolutely wrong. She was quoted as saying:
“For over a year, I have made several sincere attempts to reach out to Mr Jayam Ravi, not in the capacity of a producer, but as a mother, mother-in-law, grandmother- with the sole intention of restoring peace within the family. Most recently, I sent him a message in light of certain professional matter, hoping it might create an opening for a personal conversation. It was never, as he suggested, an attempt to exploit him financially.”
Further in the same post, Sujatha revealed that despite the false allegations Ravi has made about her, she would want him to be their hero. She concluded her post by stating how, for all these years, Ravi called her his mother, and as his mother-in-law, her only wish was to see her daughter and grandchildren live in a happy, united home. She added that no mother can see her children in sorrow, but today, she was living in the pain of her daughter.
