Weddings are supposed to be the happiest day in two people’s lives. It celebrated the bond of love, respect and companionship. However, what happens when the bride breaks all the boundaries and smears the day, which was supposed to be written with affection and happiness, with disgust, bitterness and disrespect? Something similar happened with a groom, and the clip left the internet enraged.
The groom extended a hand to his bride, but she spit on it
An extremely dramatic video has surfaced on the internet, which shows a scene where the bride can be seen behaving inappropriately with the groom. An 11-second video clip was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit. In the video, the groom was seen extending his hand to the bride as she got up on the stage. While the innocent gesture would have been appreciated by most, the bride got furious and spit on his hand.
The groom was left stunned as he looked down at his hand, which was spit on. While it is still not clear whether the video was real or scripted, it has definitely left the internet enraged. The location of the video remains unknown, but it is said to be from May 12, 2025. Many social media users suspect that the incident could have been staged for online attention. It was later revealed that the clip was from a video by TeamWork 120 on YouTube, which was posted a month ago. However, netizens were still left disgusted irrespective of the authenticity of the video.

The bride’s behaviour toward the groom has stirred outrage among netizens. While some users guessed that the scene had to be from a scripted clip, others stated how disrespectful it was despite the nature of the video. A user penned, “Uske kapde par poch deta maza aa jati, ya phir uske cheeks par.” Another wrote, “If she had guts to spit on him in front of everyone, then where was your guts to tell your parents about your choice… And if she thinks she is too beautiful, no, dear, your actions proved otherwise.” A comment said, “These girls don’t want decent working guys; they prefer chapris and will settle once with some decent guy who is one aware of her past once all the chapris are done with her.” A user in a long note stated:
“I literally wanted the guy to slap this girl right away unapologetically; this is not the way to act; if you didn’t wanna marry, then be straightforward and deny it on their face rather than creating such a ruckus.””
Another comment said, “And feminists will, as usual, make excuses that she was forced. If she has the guts to do this, she certainly can stand up to her parents. She will not face any consequences for this. A slap would have showed it’s place but then laws will screw him over.” A commenter penned, “Even if she was forced, the guy had nothing to do with it probably. Why should he be embarrassed? The parents of the bride should’ve been.” A user in a long note stated:
“Gender equality where? Do men not have any respect in society? Had the groom spat on that creature, her entire family would’ve made an entire scene. Does izzat, laaj, lajjaa, sharam only exists for women? Ye sb kartute dekh k khun kholta h. Pura ladies samaj ka naam khrb hota h inn do kori ki vjh se.”
