US President Donald Trump claimed that India has offered the United States a trade deal with “literally zero tariffs”. He described India as ‘one of the highest-tariff nations in the world’. Trump also revealed he urged Apple CEO Tim Cook to prioritise production in the US over India, stating, ‘We’re not interested in you building in India’.
